About the programme: In 2017, the World Health Organization integrated public health (PH) into Universal Health Coverage (UHC), a goal India aimed to achieve by 2022. Despite progress, India, and the world face persistent public health issues. New challenges have emerged, necessitating a specialized Public Health Cadre. These professionals bridge clinical and managerial aspects in program implementation, focusing on disease epidemiology, health determinants, policy, and management. This program aims to equip individuals with essential knowledge to tackle India’s public health challenges. Additionally, an integrated MPH program allows BSc PH students to earn an MPH degree in five years, enhancing their expertise and impact.
