Mission Statement

"To promote theological education through academics, research and community engagement within the holistic context of inclusiveness of tribal, gender and cultural issues through the empowerment of ministerial and lay leaders for church and society."

The aim and vision in designing the Theological Education programme at MLCU is to fulfill our commitment to serve the Church and Society in developing leaders with Christian Values that are characteristics of improving quality o life and professionalism, holding Christ-like humility, that will create lasting relationships, demonstrated in the life of Christ, making a long-term commitment to the transformation of society. The unique team of scholars who contribute to this programme are reputed nationally and internationally. Therefore, Theological education at MLCU is delivered by people who understand the challenges on ministry that are experienced by the church in the Twenty first century.
