Thingbaijam, Lenin

Mr. Lenin Thingbaijam is the Head of Department of Computer Sciences. He holds a degree in Master in Computer Applications from University of Madras and is currently pursuing MPhil/PHD dual programme. With a teaching experience of over 8 years, he lectures mainly on Computer Graphics, C and PHP programming languages, Operating Systems, Database Management System both at UG and PG level.

Apart from being a strong supporter of Free and Open Source Software and keen on working on the implementation of Open source systems in various fields, his area of interest includes Data mining and its applications, Data Science and Analytics, Interactive Computer Graphics and Application Software development.
He is also a member of Computer Society of India for the last 2 years.

Khyriem, Rishanbor

Mr. Khyriem has completed his Master of Computer Applications and is currently pursuing his MPhil Studies. He has attended workshops of Megabytes Conference & Exhibition, Ethical Hacking ,Network Security and NANO Technology, National Seminar on “Emerging Trends in Advanced Networking and Cloud Computing”  organized by Shillong College, Shillong, Seminar on “Cloud Computing” ,Seminar on “Cyber Security” , Free and Open Source workshop .

Mr. Thabah has completed his Master of Computer Applications and is currently pursuing his MPhil Studies. He has  attended workshops on  Network Security and NANO Technology, Seminar on “Cloud Computing”,Seminar on “Cyber Security” ,and workshop on Free and Open Source. He has also attended workshop on Megabytes Conference & Exhibition, and workshop on National Mission on Education through Information and Communication Technology (NMEICT) Awareness.

Kharbhih, Justerfield

Mr. Kharbhih has completed his Master of Business Administration in Information Technology and has attended workshops on Network Security and NANO Technology, Seminar on “Cloud Computing”, Seminar on “Cyber Security” , and workshop on Free and Open Source Software.

Mr. Nongkynrih has completed his Master of Computer Applications.

Pyngrope, Elareen M H

Ms. Pyngrope is a Tutor in the Department of Computer Sciences, Shillong. She completed her Post Graduation in Information Technology from Annamalai University, Tamil Nadu. She joined MLCU in the year 2008 and has about 9 years of teaching experience. She lectures mainly on Computer Applications for BCA/PGDCA First Semester and also for other Departments of MLCU where Computer Fundamental subjects are included. She is also taking responsibility of maintaining Computer Laboratory of the Department.

Passah, Celestial P

Mr. Passah has completed has completed MCA from Martin Luther Christian University in the year 2015 alongwith IBM certificates for Android Application Development.Despite having Interest in PHP and other programming languages at his core he prefers C programming. He is also currently pursing his M.Phil in Cloud Computing at MLCU.

Tamang, Sangyal Lama 

Mr. Sangyal Lama Tamang has completed has completed
MTech (CSE), and MCA from Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology, Sikkim 2012. He has had experience as Networking Instructor at G.Technology, Shillong,  (August 2014- January 2015), Faculty at National Institute of Paramedical Technology, Shillong,  (October 2015 – June 2017), Visiting Faculty at ICFAI University, Shillong,  (August 2014 – April 2017).

Ms. Risuklin Giri Rymmai has completed has completed MCA from St Anthony's College and is UGC NET qualified. She has had work experience as
Visiting Faculty at ICFAI University, Shillong, (August 2016 – April 2017).
